As a Security Coordinator in the City of Mölndal, you are placed in the city's Security and Preparedness Unit, which belongs to the Department of Law and Authority Management within the City Administration. The unit currently consists of a unit manager and four security coordinators and will be expanded by one additional security coordinator during the year. Together, the unit is responsible for steering, coordinating, supporting, and monitoring the city's work with crisis preparedness, civil defense, security protection, information security, and certain other security matters according to current legislation and internal steering documents. The unit works together with administrations and companies within the city, other authorities, municipalities, and organizations.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to help strengthen the city's ability to protect and withstand disruptions in socially vital operations.

Your main task will initially consist of contributing to the development of the City of Mölndal's security protection in various forms. You work at both strategic and operational levels. You conduct analyses and assessments and lead development projects within security protection. Through advice and training, you will provide support to the relevant administrations in their work. The tasks involve extensive collaboration with the city's various operations.

The assignment includes, where applicable, drawing up steering documents and routines, participating in procurement, and responding to inquiries. You will also participate in other assignments within the unit's area of responsibility.

The content of the position may develop over time.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant higher education, or other education that, combined with experience, is considered equivalent. We would like your higher education to be in the fields of technology or political science.

You have education and experience in working with security protection, have good knowledge in the area, and are well acquainted with the legislation. You have education in information security and/or physical protection. It is an advantage if you have a background in total defense or technically socially vital operations. It is an advantage if you have worked in public operations.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, analytical, solution-focused, and meticulous. You are a good writer with experience in formulating action plans and reports. You have good communicative and pedagogical skills and are accustomed to working independently. We assume that you find it easy to collaborate both within your own administration and with other operations in the municipality, other authorities, and other external parties. In the role of Security Coordinator, both sensitivity, risk awareness, and high integrity are required.

To be considered for the position of Security Coordinator, you need to have Swedish citizenship, as the employment involves placement in a security classification.
